How to Serve Tequila Shots

To be anatomically precise, the hand should be held at a 45 degree angle away from the body, with the thumb extended downwards and the juice and salt deposited along the thumb and the forefinger. The tequila is then thrown back in one gulp like schnapps, carrying the seasonings with it. Repeat ad infinitum , believe it or not, this really is how tequila is widely drunk on its native territory.
